USA Today creates Social Media Team

From the “It’s about time” file…USA Today is jumping into social media. The paper now has a corporate Twitter account, and blog called the Social Media Lounge.
Media Bistro’s Fishbowl reports existing staffers are running the operation. No word on whether they’re hiring.
